Here’s what some x2Cycle Tandem Rack Users have had to say:

“My wife and I just got back from a bike trip to Tuscany Italy. She developed a knee problem just before we were to leave on the trip. My plan was to use your product as a method to help her if her knee could not hold up under the daily biking through the "rolling hills". Well, as it turned out her knee could only last a couple of hours per day. Where she left off, my legs and lungs stepped in towing her with the Tandem Rack the balance of the day. This was a 6 day trip, 7 bikers with point to point bike routes. If it were not for your product, she would have missed out on a vacation of a life time. THANK YOU! It worked great. We went up one hill that was about 800 feet elevation change (10 to 15%) grade where we had lunch.”

“I took Nell to school today <after practicing with husband (shown)> using the bike connector. I can't believe how well everything went. We didn't come apart and all our stops, starts & turns were very smooth.

I love how easily the connector falls off. When my daughter fails to pay attention and gets off course, the bar just falls off, we stop and pick it up.”

“The tandem rack is a great way to connect Douglas' bike to mine. It makes a big difference to a long bike ride, especially since I don't mind doing quite a lot of the work. Douglas, who's aged 9, pedals along at his own speed, helping more when we're going uphill and freewheeling downhill. It makes any ride more sociable as he can chatter away to me, and we can do much longer rides than we could if Douglas were cycling by himself. It's terrific at the end of the day, when Douglas is tired and has pretty much run out of steam. It's also particularly good when it comes on to rain as it means we can cycle to shelter at something close to my normal speed rather than Douglas' speed. The main thing to look out for is stopping. Douglas had to be trained to stop when I tell him to. It helps if I anticipate when I need to stop, give him plenty of warning and brake gently. The other key point is to make sure that Douglas cycles directly behind me, as the bar can detach itself if he overtakes me (accidentally or otherwise). We found it was better not to use it in towns, even when there are good cycle paths, as in Holland, as there are too many stops.”
